I enjoy games in a variety of genres. My first choice is simulators.
I've flown planes and helo's in just about every simulator on the market.

I also sink my teeth into strategy, management and tycoon games.
The first real tycoon game was Transport Tycoon by Microprose. It was back in '95, and i got the Deluxe version in '96 and i still play it today.
Although not as often as before, i still enjoy the sometimes stupid AI constructions, and the satisfaction when a coal-mine or forest produces more units then i can transport away.

Another classic is Total Annihilation by CaveDog.
It's a real-time strategy game with resource management and unit construction. It's quite challenging even thou the computer AI is somewhat predictable under some circumstances. This is one of the games i play with friends over internet.

Another genre that I've played many titles in is first-person shooters. Doom, Doom2, Duke Nukem, Half-Life, Delta Force and many more has passed through my pc...
Currently I'm involved with Delta Force Land Warrior by NovaLogic, which is a mostly team-based first-person shooter.

I'm a member (Callsign Tank) of a squad called Forlorn Hope and i try to play a little every day to create a distraction from reality.
It helps keeping the brain organized for programming and other challenging tasks.

Reviews and more info on the oldies i play to follow soon...
